Akshara Brahma Yoga
अक्षरब्रह्मयोग — The Yoga of the Imperishable Brahman · 28 verses
Summary
Arjuna asks about Brahman, the Self, karma and the moment of death. Krishna explains that whatever one remembers at the end of life, one attains — so one should remember him at all times while doing one’s duty. He describes the vast cycles of cosmic creation and dissolution, the days and nights of Brahma, and the two paths taken by souls after death: the path of light, from which there is no return, and the path of smoke, which leads back to birth.
