Yogini Dasha Calculator

Yogini dasha is a 36-year cycle of eight periods, each ruled by a yogini and a planet: Mangala (1 year), Pingala (2), Dhanya (3), Bhramari (4), Bhadrika (5), Ulka (6), Siddha (7) and Sankata (8). Many astrologers use it alongside Vimshottari to confirm timing.

How Yogini dasha starts

The starting yogini depends on the Moon’s nakshatra at birth, and the balance on how far the Moon has travelled through it — the same principle as Vimshottari. Each mahadasha is divided into eight antardashas in proportion to the yoginis’ years. We use exact 365.25-day years so that every sub-period fits precisely inside its period.
